These proposed terms govern access to EduCareersPath, including its assessments, career information, reports, AI tools and paid services. Read them alongside the privacy, refund and service-delivery policies before creating an account or purchasing a service.
01Operator and scope
EduCareersPath is the service brand. The contracting operator is [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME — TO BE CONFIRMED], with its principal business address at [FULL BUSINESS ADDRESS — TO BE CONFIRMED]. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean that operator once identified. These placeholders must be completed before these terms take effect.
These terms apply to the website and services supplied directly by us. A separately signed institutional or commercial agreement governs where it expressly varies these terms. University, admissions, payment and other third-party services have their own applicable terms. Nothing here excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
02Eligibility and account responsibilities
An adult creating an account or making a purchase must be legally competent to contract. A parent or lawful guardian must act for a minor where required. Selecting a student stage, entering an age or ticking a box does not by itself establish parental verification. Read the Children & parental consent before a child uses the service.
- Supply accurate information, use an email address you control and keep your sign-in details confidential. Do not impersonate someone else or create an account using their information without authority.
- An individual purchase is personal and non-transferable unless the offer expressly permits sharing. Do not resell an account, share paid access or bypass payment and usage limits.
- Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise; this does not remove our responsibility for security failures attributable to us.
03The service and its limits
EduCareersPath supports educational and career exploration. Assessments and recommendations are decision-support tools, and AI output may contain errors. We do not guarantee a particular score, admission, visa, scholarship, internship, job, salary or career outcome. Admission and selection decisions belong to the relevant institution, employer or authority.
Verify eligibility, fees, deadlines and other material information with its official source before acting. The AI & assessment disclaimer explains these limitations. A demonstration or saved enquiry is not a confirmed appointment, enrolment, application acceptance or promise that a counsellor will contact you.
04Purchases, prices and access
The offer and checkout must identify the selected plan, total payable amount, taxes or charges, included services and any material limits before payment. Pay only through an authorised checkout or an expressly agreed business payment method. Access depends on confirmation of a valid payment for the correct account.
One-time payment does not mean unlimited AI usage, unlimited human sessions or automatic inclusion of future products. Where the offer says “lifetime access”, it refers to the operating lifetime of the purchased digital service, rather than the purchaser’s natural life. It does not allow us to withdraw paid commitments arbitrarily or remove remedies required by law. See pricing & service delivery.
We may correct an obvious pricing or catalogue error before accepting an order, explaining the correction and allowing you to decline it. A price change does not retrospectively increase the price of an accepted purchase. Cancellations and refunds are governed by the No-refund policy and applicable law.
05Permitted use and platform protection
We grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the service for its intended purpose, subject to these terms and any paid entitlement. Revocation remains subject to the suspension provisions and your statutory rights.
- Do not attack the platform, introduce malicious code, probe private systems without permission or access another user’s records.
- Do not extract, reproduce, sell or redistribute our question banks, scoring methods, reports, databases or other protected material without permission, except as permitted by law.
- Do not use automated collection, reverse engineering or account farming to circumvent controls or build a competing dataset from protected platform content.
- Do not submit unlawful, infringing, abusive or deceptive material, falsify qualifications or use the service for academic or application fraud.
We may apply proportionate rate limits, verification and abuse controls. Report a security concern privately through support and do not access or disclose other people’s information to demonstrate it.
06Content and intellectual property
The platform, branding and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Buying access does not transfer those rights. You may retain your own reports for personal use and share them with your parent, guardian or adviser for your guidance, while respecting other people’s privacy and third-party rights.
You retain the rights you hold in information and material you submit. You grant us only the permissions reasonably needed to operate the requested service, process that material, generate your outputs and comply with law, as explained in the privacy policy. This is not a transfer of ownership of your personal information or unrestricted permission to use it in advertising or model training.
AI outputs may resemble other outputs and are not guaranteed to be original, exclusive or eligible for intellectual-property protection. Check facts and third-party rights before publishing or relying on them.
07Third-party services and introductions
A listing, link, referral or introduction does not make us the university, employer, payment provider or other independent service provider. Their availability, decisions and performance are outside our direct control. This does not exclude responsibility for our own representations, selection duties or conduct where law imposes it.
An admissions submission is authorised only for the recipient and purpose explained in that flow. Any referral payment, sponsorship or other material commercial relationship must be disclosed where applicable. A student’s assessment outcome is not an undertaking to buy from a particular provider.
08Availability, changes and suspension
We may maintain, improve or change the platform and temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, provider outages or circumstances outside reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Material changes to an already purchased service must respect the original commitments and any remedy required by law.
We may restrict or suspend access for credible security concerns, unlawful use, material breach, fraudulent payment or a legal requirement. Where lawful and practical, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to respond. Contact support to dispute a restriction. A suspension does not automatically forfeit every amount paid or extinguish a valid refund claim.
09Warranties and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude implied warranties beyond the express service commitments, and liability for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunities, anticipated earnings or decisions made solely in reliance on guidance or third-party information.
To the extent a contractual cap is lawful, our aggregate liability for a claim relating to a paid service is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service or order. Any limitation is subject to mandatory consumer remedies and does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. It does not remove an entitlement to an applicable refund or other non-excludable remedy.
You remain responsible for your choices and for checking material information. This allocation of responsibility does not excuse a deficient or misdescribed service, misleading representation or breach of our own legal duties.
10Claims caused by unlawful misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable, documented third-party losses and costs directly caused by your unlawful misuse, knowing infringement of another person’s rights or deliberate material breach of these terms. This does not cover losses caused by our own fault, impose liability merely for using the service, or remove your right to contest a claim. We will notify you of a relevant claim and take reasonable steps to reduce loss.
11Applicable law and disputes
Indian law governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections applicable to you. Contact admin@educareerspath.com with a dispute so we can attempt a resolution. Doing so is not a prerequisite to using a statutory remedy where the law does not require it.
Subject to applicable jurisdiction rules, competent courts in New Delhi may hear contractual disputes. This clause does not prevent you from approaching a consumer commission, regulator or another court or forum entitled to hear your complaint. No mandatory arbitration or waiver of consumer remedies is imposed by these terms.
12Updates and contact
Changes will be published with a revised version and date. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention, and renewed agreement obtained where required. Changes do not retrospectively remove an accrued claim or a paid commitment. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply. For questions, use the Support & grievances page.
