EduCareersPath uses cookies and browser storage for different purposes. This notice explains the categories visible in the current implementation and how to manage information saved on your device.
02Sign-in sessions and preferences
Session cookies support sign-in and authenticated requests. Browser storage also remembers display preferences, such as dashboard colour theme, and progress through the Lumen introduction. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent signing in or using private features. An existing cookie is not permission for unrelated advertising or admissions sharing.
03Saved drafts and referral information
Assessment autosave can retain a local recovery journal. Certain enrolment drafts can be saved in session storage. These features help recover work, but may leave information on a shared device. Use your own browser profile and clear site data when appropriate; clearing data can remove unsynchronised work.
The current referral feature writes an attribution code to local and session storage. Referral attribution is a distinct purpose from essential sign-in. Its necessity, retention period and any required consent controls must be reviewed before production; this draft does not claim that an opt-out or consent manager is already implemented.
04Third parties and optional tracking
Hosted payments and external or embedded services may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their notices. The production inventory must identify actual analytics, advertising and other optional tracking before those tools are enabled. Where consent is required, optional tracking must wait for the relevant choice and allow withdrawal. This page does not claim that advertising trackers are present, absent or blocked by a banner that has not been built. Children’s information requires the additional safeguards in the children & parental consent policy.
05Manage information on your device
Use your browser’s site settings to inspect, block or remove cookies and local or session storage. Removing site data may sign you out, reset preferences or discard drafts. It does not cancel a purchase, delete an account, erase all server records or automatically withdraw a permission already recorded for another purpose. 06Inventory and updates
Before this notice becomes effective, the operator must confirm the production technology inventory, storage durations, third-party behaviour and any required preference controls. Material changes must be reflected in this notice and the Privacy policy. Version information above identifies this review draft; it does not certify cookie or data-protection compliance.
